Screen resolution changes at login screen

I have 2 monitors one of them is using the HDMI port (main) and the other is using the DVI port (second).



I just bought a new graphics card (nvidia 295) and since then whenever I am at the login screen my computer automatically changes the screen resolution on the monitor that is using the HDMI port. I updated the driver to the latest but that didn't fix it.

My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium.



Does anyone know how to fix it? ?:|

Does this change persist even after you?ve logged in, or does it stop once you pass the login screen?

It only changes at the login screen.
