 I have just downloaded a program called PC Booster v5.0(suggested to everyone). In the AutoTune section it can tune your pc automatically. But I only have the trial version so i only see the reccomedations. So if it was a full version it would adjust the Windows Prefetcher value for better performance. I don't want to spend any money buying anything. Could you tell me how to do that manually? I think it has to do with the registry.Forgive my grammar-i'm from Cyprus :unsure Thank you

If the full program is a different installation from the trial, you could go to the darkside and download it illegally through a p2p client (be careful of getting viruses instead of the program, that's a common incurance with downloading illegally).Or if you just need the cd-key, google for it, and dig through 100 pages of illicit sites, spyware sites, virus sites, and dead ends.I suggest neither, just pay for the program and support the company and programmers that worked so hard to put that program out there. Plus, there's no risk of messing up your computer through viruses, adware, and other malicious programs.Winners don't do warez.

:evil:I don't want to use the program without paying. That's no what i'm asking. I'm asking how can i set Windows Prefetcher value(it is in Windows XP). That must be done through the registry (start->run->regedit).It has nothing to do with "unlocking" any program. For those who don't know what the above means please don't post any replies.[/b]
