Hello the Group. Would appreciate some adviice on a message that has been showing for several weeks now.
Opening 'Oulook Express'/click to open - get 'wait' instruction - computer very slow to respond.
Eventually get screen with small box showing heading of 'Windows Installer' with item 'Preparing to Install' and
small box for 'Cancel' . Clicking this raises box of 'Cancelling' - clicking this outside of box will clear screen.
This 'Windows Installer' box is very insistant in repeating onto screen mid use of anything I do.
Have systematically worked through any screen to do with Windows Installation, trying to find any item to
move this problem - have spent several weeks cancelling and re-inputting (if necessary) any screen with
this title - but the problem still remains in the 'Outlook Express'page. Have now exhausted all screens - only
positive response is that I canno install any other programme without receiving message that 'Cannot proceed
- other istallation taking pllace - please complete that first..' IKn the hope that some-one can advise - here is
list of my computer details.
