Ok they told me to do this: "The quickest & most efficient way to resolve your situation is as follows:
Backup your personal data, then do a format & clean install of Windows Vista. Please note that a Repair Install (AKA in-place upgrade) will NOT fix this!
After the clean install, you'll have the equivalent of a "new computer" so take care of everything on the following page before otherwise connecting the machine to the internet or a network and before using a USB key that isn't brand-new or hasn't been freshly formatted"....
How do I do this? Will my files & music still be on my computer? Do i need the Windows Vista software? thanks for your help!
How to get rid of viruses that keep popping up?

What they're saying is: Follow these instructions and your computer will be returned to the condition it was the day you opened the box this computer came in. In other words, nothing that you've ever put on the computer will be there when you're done. None of your files, none of your music - nothing. They'll all be gone. If that's not bad enough... all of the "crapware" they originally installed on it would return.
Exactly how you'd accomplish this would depend upon how your computer was originally prepared. The most reliable way of making this determination is to contact the makers of your PC. Often, though, it invoves a "Restore Partition" that they put on the computer. If this is the case, they'd be able to explain how to make use of it.

Maybe...maybe not. Depends on how you "re-install" Windows on the computer. If done with a set of restore disks or a restore partition, then you are most likely 100% correct. If you use a provided actual Windows install disk (such as the one that Dell frequently provides in addition to including a restore partition), then it will likely just be the "bare" Windows install...and you will then have to install drivers and any applications that you want/need, which generally means you can leave off the "crapware".

Yeah, I did forget that Dells do have this option.

Ok well just checked my Documents folder and there are more files I cannot erase. At first there was two which I posted on here. And now there is 13 more? Is this because I downloaded the Malwarebytes and everything else trying to take off the adwares I had? Some of them I was able to erase (which are still in my recycle bin). Do I keep these to? I thought the bytes would grow on the other files that were already there I didnt think other files would show up. Oh and I have only one user account on my notebook. I would do a screen shot but I do not know how to post one on here. thanks 4 ur help!

:D Hi :
The certified, Volunteer "Helpers" on the Forums at aumha.net are "Microsoft Most
Valuable Professionals" and by what you reported they said, means you have a very
serious malware problem that can ONLY be resolved by "Reformatting" and
"Reinstalling" your Operating System . That has somewhat been covered by the
previous 2 Posters . More specific Info may be shared by our best hardware Expert,
Rick Green, IF he knows the SPECIFIC of your computer .

Mizzvee: This repetitive reappearance of these files and your inablity to get them cleaned out looks a bit like a "flash BIOS' type of virus/worm. The cure would be to reset the BIOS using the hardware jumper if your MOBO has that option, or removal of the CMOS battery, shorting the terminals. This forces the BIOS to be loaded from the "firmware" and not the "flash" ROM. This will not disturb any of your files or applications. Rebooting to "SAFE" mode would then allow you to clean things out and get back to a normal system. The worst case scenario of formatting and reloading the OS would be the only other way to get rid of the other viruses but if it's lodged in the BIOS, even a reformat/reload wouldn't get rid of it unless the "flash" ROM gets cleaned too. good luck

Hey mizzvee !!
Sorry for the tardiness.
OK, I read your post on AumHa and they recommend you Re-Install Vista.
Your notebook has been without virus protection for a couple of months and
Robear Dyer the site Admin. , after looking over the logs that you posted, judge
it best to do a re-intall of Vista.
I have Pm'ed "rgreen" , our tech on the matter of re-installation. I will now
ask a few questions and would like you to report in your next post , the details
that are needed to proceed BUT, ONLY IF YOU ARE WILLING ! This is very important.
If you don't want to take this step then, we will not proceed with the re-install.
When you first booted your notebook, if you have read the instructions that
came with it, it asks you to burn the "Recovery Discs" . This is an "Image"
of Vista and what HP installed on your hard drive. I hope you did burn the
"Recovery Discs" .
But first, I would like you to give us the details of your notebook. Go To >
Start > Cilck on Computer > In this screen , you will see the hard drive
letter and the space available. Please report the letters along with the
corresponding numbers for each letter you see. This is what it should
look like. Mine is a bit different but, you should get what I mean :
Now that you have written down those numbers, look At the top of the same screen,
you will see "System Propertie" Click on that button :
In the Next screen to appear , you will have the notebook's details.
This is what mine says :

I would like you to report All of the info. on this screen in your next post.
We have to start somewhere and this info. will tell us if you have the
'Recovery" partition on your hard drive.
So , it's up to you if you would like to proceed with a re-install of Vista.
If not then, you will have to seek out a friend who will or bring it back to
the store where you bought the notebook and have them do it for you.
I will wait for your answer.
