after trying to clean up registry and duplicate files with Easycleaner, the computer won't restart. It gives the above message <windows root>/system 32/ntoskrnl.exe as being a missing or corrupt file. When I insert the XP cd, nothing happens. I don't know how to tell the computer to reboot from cd. Any key that I press brings me back to the same message. I have a Dell Dimension 4400.Thank you in advance for your help!

Hold down the delete key on boot, put cd in drive, when in BIOS, find the settings that allow you to change the boot order, put cd first.
