Dave, why the sentiment - "I'd love to see someone give the iPod real competition" Do you really get off on not appreciating a company who kicked ass and actually did something so right that they started a new music revolution? How come when any long-time "underdog" company finally shows up the status quo on how it's done, the press turns on them? Let's give Apple the credit and support they deserve. Yes, competition is a great equalizer but back off a bit and give credit where it's due.
And don't start the whole "I'd love to see competition so the price comes down or we get the latest tech, because Apple has consistently lowered prices as new tech comes out. That's how they have stayed ahead of the competition.
So, why don't you back off and enjoy.

Dell is exactly like Microsoft:
pathetic losers who do not know the meaning of the word innovation. stumbling around with their cheap plastic, and wondering why everyone sneers when their name is mentioned. Dell needs to know they can only make cheap computers and call it a day.
