I logged on to Windows Live Hotmail and composed a private note to my brother ( who is on simplepc.net). When he received the message there was a link to an ad for "Laptop Hunters" tagged onto the end of my message. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and am up to date on all on all fixes. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I did computer design with IBM starting in 1956 on the IBM 709 which was one of the first comercial computers with multiple processors (yeah, it was a tube machine). Now I am no longer interested in computer design; I just want a simple tool to surf the net and send messages to my friends so keep the advice simple and to the point please. Regards, Ed Layden

Many free email services will tack on ads to your email messages...that is how they offer free email accounts. I suspect that is what is happening...unless you have a paid for Hotmail account.
