I have this old worms game from 1999. I have all the files needed for it on my computer, but I can't find the disc. Is it possible to burn those files to a dvd and run it like a normal game? Or would it work with a CD? I'd rather use a DVD if possible, I have lots of those on hand :P

You are talking about Worms. First of all is it a PC game??? You want to run this game on PC????? if yes than the files u have convert it to a .ISO file with using Magic ISO software & then burn that converted ISO file by NERO or any other cd or dvd burning software and enjoyyyyyy.....

Hi pcnerd and welcome to the PCWorld Communities.
Technically speaking, you can use a DVD to create a backup of an older game. However, that would be an extreme waste of space. A CD holds up to 700MBs whereas a DVD holds up to 4.7GBs. The game should easily fit on a CD.
Since I have never attempted what you are trying to do, I cannot state for a certainty that you would first have to convert the saved files into an .iso file before you can burn it to a CD.
