Hi, I deleted Win 7 and Ubuntu from my windows xp pro computer, now I want to get rid of the choosing which OS to boot to screen. I tried to go to msconfig and change the boot.ini but there is not one there. Is there another place to change it? Thank You

Thank you smax013, I followed the instructions at the link but windows would not go to the recovery, it would only try to install windows.

To get to the recovery console, you must boot from the install CD. Please make sure that you have all of your data backed up and the install CD for all of your applications before you go through this process. It is not a simple process.

Hi RGreen thank you for answering. I used the XP cd to try to get to the repair and recovery but after going through the installing files there is a flash at the bottom that says there is no windows on the machine and goes to the install portion asking where to install the files. There is 1 partition for win xp and another unallocated space where ubuntu and win 7 was. I have tried several times but get to the same place.Thank you

Hi, I used the win 7 install disk to get to the recovery console but it does not list win xp as being on the computer, just list win 7. Thank you
