As HD-TV's become more prevalent Blu-Ray will naturally increase. But the sad fact is still their high price severely restricts customer purchases and rentals. Unless Hollywood can get the prices down on Blu-Ray discs they will not survive its next competitor.

Since when did anyone actually expect Hollywood to do anything smart in the long-term vs. the short-term?
