ring ring on dial up

i am recooping from 7back surgeries at ma and pas and they have dial up and no end in site and DO NOT, CAN NOT WILL NOT, miss a call.is there a notification download so that i can jump offline and catch the call? ANY HELP!!!thanks,brian from daphne, alabama
