ok this is bothering me. I have tryed everything and can't find the problem.win xp 2.9G all updates on windows done closed all programs running and checked windows setting for pop up blocker and added web suite to alow list but nothing works.It won't open any web page from a link. Both in e-mail or in IE no links at all will open.tryed right click and open in new window (nothing). Turned off norton (nothing)when this happens i get a message in bottom left corner saying pop up was blocked. but I have no pop up blocker running. anyone have a idea? try running registry scanner to see if there are any problems with the registry, norton windoctor works ok, tune up utilities works too, if that doesn't work try restoreing your pc to a time when you could open links
