before i bought my rav I had an 1980 volarie wag with studded snow in the rear It made me like studs very much. i only had the car for 9 months but i learned what studs can do. it was funny the one time I had to pull the bros yoda out of the snow because his auto lock hubs need hime to drive for 10 feet to lock in. he was headed to get the key to the truck or the tractor and i went i can pull you out theres only a little ice. i just barly hit the gas and i pulled him right out. my dad was inside with my mom loling the whole time.

Yeh, the first season, I ran them as long as I could legally, and then had them de-mounted and the street tire re-installed. The next year, I traded vehicles and put aluminum wheels on. I kept the steel wheels and mounted the studded tire on them. On a trip to Houston over Christmas they were forcasting some bad weather on the way back. I removed the standard spare, put one studded tire in the spare well, the other three flat on the floor in the trunk (13' wheels), plastic on top of them and then my clothes bag on top of that.
On the way back, I spent the night in Chattanooga, Tn and when I came out the next morning, snow and ice everywhere. I changed the four tires in the parking lot and drove home to Lynchburg. I was one of the few cars moving in Tn, but when I crossed the line into Virginia, the road crews had been out, the road was clear and good driving. I found out later, that studded snow tires were illegal in Tn. Oh, well, I got home.

I know when he ordered his he could get the truck v10 or the viper v10. I think it was a bad idea to put a v10 in the truck that should be in a sports car. it was funny when he was in a car show they put him in with the 2 vipers that where at the show because he had a v10. It was just the 3 of them in the v10 area and there was about 50 cars and trucks in the v8 area.

People ask me at times why I need a 4x4 pickup truck. I had a two wheel drive pickup from 2000 to 2004, and it was ok, it had the diesel and posi-traction rear end, so it did fairly well, but there were times I wished I had the 4x4. Last weekend coming home up I75 it was raining so hard that the cars were pulling over because they were slipping around. I was too, until I reached down and pulled the short stick. Then everything was stable. If you have it available, you never know when you might use it.

I wonder if anybody is going to go see the new Star Trek movie when it comes out..... Can't hardly wait!!
Hi Adama, You know, I don't usually bother with going to the movies. I just wait for the DVD to come out. After seeing the previews for that thing, it will probably be a different story. Finally something that will finally get me into a Theater. :D

Today I had to drive my car for about 1 1/2 hours. I didn't think I was going to make it because of the pain on my left arm, but...
I made it ok... even though it was night time, and I really do not like driving at night.

Are you sure you didn't fracture your collarbone when you fell ? It's sure starting to sound like it.
