Oh, I have no doubt. I forgot how long mine hurt. I was working making Cardboard boxes, and it hurt everytime I was trying to push a big roll of paper. I didn't help much to breathe deep either. Fortunately, I was young so I healed quick, and I could go out a wreck something else. :D

You didn't have a clamp truck to move the paper rolls? Those things can be dangerous if they start rolling. Most of the time they are store on end so they won't roll. Most of those weigh about a ton.

Yeah, but once they were on the floor we still had to roll them into the stand on the corrugator. We did stand them on end in storage and three high. Some of those rolls were 87"

When I was at Big Island, Va, Owens-Illinois built a new corrugating plant in North Carolina. It had a 100 inch corrugator, and our old No. 2 Paper Machine had a max trim of 98". It was a nice fit, as most of the rolls they ordered were 95-99", but when we produced the 98" rolls, we had to leave the deckled (rough) edge on one end and trim only one end.

I was working for Union - Camp. I don't recall us using anything wider than 87", but we may have.

Just came back a little while ago from shopping with my BFF. I was really disappointed with Linens 'N Things, they are going out of business. We've noticed that a lot of the items have been marked up and then they have this big 40% OFF sign!

ie The new Green pots and pans. Two weeks ago when we were there, the Green pans were $24.99 minus the 20%, so that made it a good deal at around $19. This time, the same pan is marked up as $49.99 minus 40%, which would make it $39.99... not such a good deal.

People are getting duped and they don't even notice it!... just because it says "Marked down" doesn't mean that it is.

We ended up at Burlingtons and found the curtain panels that my BFF is giving me for Xmas. Then went over to Target and bought the hardware for the curtains, for less than $20. Now THOSE are good deals, indeed! :^0

A little while ago, my roommate/BFF was coming in the door and she got stung on the face by something, big and black she said. It started getting a little red and swollen right away. I have no experience with insect stings so I Googled it and found a website with great advise.

I scraped the area with the edge of a credit card like they said, to get the sting out, but there was no sting there. So then I told her to wash her face with soap and water thoroughly, which she did.

I wanted to go to the store and get some ice for her, but she didn't want me to. She just used the cold, wet washcloth and kept it there for quite a few minutes. Now I have to watch her for 24 hrs, to make sure there's no problems with the sting site. It's a little red and she says it feels numb.

I told her that's probably what the people using Botox experience, and I also said, this could be Nature's way of helping you look younger.

She was not amused. :p

Has anybody had any experience with MetroPCS?

I've been contemplating getting a cell and service from them.

Hi Lil,

Maybe MetroPCS is not big in So Cal, but they have quite a following up here in the north. It's unlimited everything!

They've been all over the TV, and for $35 a month you can talk all you want, and call whomever you want, locally, and the incoming calls are not charged extra.

For $45 you can call and receive calls from all over the USA and abroad, and not pay an extra penny. My roommate subscribes to this one.

For $50 you can have text and other stuff.

They also have a Family Plan that's 4 people for $100. A family of 4 pays $25. per line/per person, with all of the above included. I've been trying to get my fam to sign up for it, but I just wanted to know if you guys have heard of it.

hi guys
check out this. http://www.opera.com/browser/next/
Opera 10 is in the alpha stage. The browser cleared the acid3 test with 100/100 score - only browser to do so till date.

Major changes from ver. 9.6 - Inline spellchecker , auto updates , new presto 2.2 engine , 30% faster. Have a look at it.

Note - this is an alpha release , wait for the final release.
