OMG, a Green Oscar Madison!

I never will forget the line when one of the poker players asked what the green slices on his sandwich were. He looked at them and said either very old meat or very strong cheese.

That was one very funny show.

1! R.O.T.F.L.M.A.O. What a way to start the day. Fortunately, I was in between sips of coffee when I read this stuff. coastie

Well, I just tore into my PS2 to see if I could find the reason why it quit turning. It turned out to be a useless endeavor, as I didn't see anything out of place. It took awhile to figure out to get into the thing. I wasn't too concerned as it was busted anyway, or at least it wouldn't play anything. I might look around and see what else I can find on that thing now that I know how to get into it. coastie

Hi All, This morning as usual, I read the morning paper, although I just skimmed the Editorial page, as I was a bit weary of that stuff. my sister called a little while ago and asked my mother if she had read my letter to the Editor. My Mother is also tired of all this stuff as well and did the same as I did. She came and got the paper and went bak to where her light was and read it and then asked me if I had read it. I was surprised and just looked at her a moment and said no. I then read it and was surprised that unlike the other time I was published, this one wasn't edited. It had to do with the bail out and my thoughts on it. I think the last time, it had something to do with Veterans, but I'm not sure. The reason I was surprised is that that usually call to confirm that you wrote the article and they didn't this time, so I wasn't looking for it. I remember the first time was in response to something some else had written, and supportive. I always have something to say about almost everything, or so I'm told, but I've only written the Editor twice and both times it ended up in the Letters To The Editor section of the paper. coastie

Coastie: I had the same thing happen to my PS2. It turned out the plastic spindle disk on top of the motor shaft wore out and was just sitting still while the motor was spinning. Replaced it with one froma unit that had a serious melt down and it still works today.

Hey mjd, Yeah, it took me awhile to find out where they hid the screws as I have the new version of the PS2 ( with the flip top) not the original with the drawer. I hadn't thought to google it until yesterday and got all sorts of info. Judging by the game times, that thing had well over 1000 hrs on it so I guess maybe it did wear out. They ought to try Nylon as that holds up well for that sort of stuff. Thanks for the heads up as most of what I found dealt with a nonreading situation, and how to adjust/replace the laser. coastie

As Adama pointed Out I have not been posting much these past few weeks. So I am getting every one to speed that wants to know.

So to start with on the 20th my bro who has been in new zealand for the past 18 months cam over for 4 weeks to see everyone with his new girl friend. Onth the 12th I have my Wedding with my soon to be wife Tara. I had my Bday on the first, and my little Paintball internet site is starting to get a few hits a day and I am doing a paintball marker repairs and mods for people thats really keeping me busy where I am going to be gone all next week and people need there stuff for the 18th for a big game there having at one of the kinda local fields. Plus I have to get the yard and the house ready for snow thats only if I am lucky a month away if I am not lucky some time this week it will start (j/k I am not that far north). I should be around more after the 19th where my bro is headed back to new zealand and I don't have all the wedding stuff to do.

We have had an accumulating around here in early Nov. in the past, but for the past 8 years or so, we have had very little snow, nothing like we used to get. We've gotten more Ice storms which are worse in my opinion. We had a 6" snowfall on the 4th of Nov. in about '86. Usually we didn't really see any snow until after Christmas, although we've had some really snowy New Years Eve's. I don't know about that paint ball stuff, looks a little messy to me. We have one of those places up the road, but I haven't been. I think my Nephew went once for a special kids party. I'm of a mind that the young folks shouldn't have all the fun, but that is one thing I'll sit out. :D coastie

Hi again, RT,

You're getting married in less than a week from today... yikes! that's coming up fast, my friend. Congratulations again, I wish all the best for you and your bride-to-be.

And it looks like Congrats are also in order for your new business. I don't know a lot of people who are into Paintball, but I've seen it in movies, TV, etc. So cheers to you and amazing, wonderful luck on that too!

Just babbling in, haven't been too active of late~~~~~~~~~ Finally completed the digitizing of my VHS tapes, yay!!!!!!!!! The Toshiba did all that was expected of it!!! I'm very happy for a $50 deck!!!!!!!!!! Still working on my addendum to MPH's power supply blog re Dell PSU's, more than I thought it would be, but I won't submit something unless mph and I think it is right for a resource for any member. I should have saved some of the stuff I found that guided me to my upgrade, {slaps head}. :(.

Anyway, Hi to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
