Tonight is the last DWTS show. They'll be crowning a new Champion. I've been voting for Brooke Burke, so I hope that she wins. She's awesome.

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone. My fam got here quite early on Thursday, around 8:30 am. I was taking a shower, so my roommate (BFF) let them in.

We had a really nice day, told stories, laughed a lot, ate a lot, watched some old movies (there was nothing else to watch.)

Then yesterday we went to see Madagascar II. It was very, very funny, from the moment it started when the penguins got rid of the boy fishing on the moon (the logo) and they took over from there.

...And a good time was had by everyone... :p LOL

Madagascar 2 was funny from the start but the kids (and i think they where right) thought that some of it was kinda over the top. eagle eye I think was very good and a great deal at the $4.00 theater.

Hey Everyone!!

I was just wondering, We haven't heard of Piyush in a while. I know

he is still at school but, ever since the attack on Mumbai, I was thinking

about this.Has anyone heard from Piyush?

Hey Flash, No. I expect he is busy with school. He did pop in about a week or so ago, I think. I think he is up around Dehi or New Delhi. It is in an area that has some pretty cool winter weather, not cold. I remember last year he mentioned nighttime lows in the 30's at one point. Mumbai is in the Tropics. coastie

I'd like to go see Eagle Eye. I like action/thriller movies like that.

Hi Flash!

It's funny that you'd post a question about Piyush.... just this morning I sent him an email, asking him if he was ok.

I know that Coastie said that he thinks Piyush lives close to Delhi, but just the same, people travel around, you know? I really hope he's ok and that he'll answer my email. I'll keep you guys posted.

PS. is there something wrong with the image uploader? Some

members are complaining about not being able to upload or that

the uploader has chewed up their images. I can upload my tiny leaf

so, it is working for me.

Hey Adama, I see that they've done a remake of an all time favorite of mine "The Day The Earth Stood Still". The trailers looked good. Didn't catch who was playing Michael Rennie's part this time and don't know what the release date is either. I didn't see the remake of "War of the Worlds" because of the fact Tom Cruise starred in it, and I am not a fan of Tom Cruise.

Hey Flash, Thanks for the info on the uploader. I had problems earlier and thought it was me, but now that you said others had problems, I'll file a report on it. The Maple Leaf is a gif, so they may work, but BMP and JPG files don't appear to be working.

Hi Coastie,

Yeah, I saw that. It's Keanu Reeves! I love that movie! It looks like it's going to be epic!

I just hope that they don't stray too far away from the original storyline. Can't hardly wait to see it. This one you gotta go to the theater to get the full, glorious effect though. :D

I saw War of the Worlds, even though I was mad at Tom Cruise for acting out on Oprah's couch. It was still a good movie, with some very spooky undertones.

I have not tried recently with IE7 but lost the ability to upload with FF2 some time ago. I have never been able to upload with FF3.

Well, it seems to be working for me. The first one is a GIF and the second one is JPEG. The dog pic is funny, aint it? :^0

Hey rg!1

We also ran in that situation. It turned out to be the update

for the Flash Player. The 9 version works fine in FF2 but

the 10 version did not. Adobe added some extra features

to the 10 v and effects our ability to use the image uploader.

It also affected IE8 (which is the one I use). I don't know about IE7.

Today my BFF and I went to TJ Max and we went past a couple of shopping centers. I was blown out of the water by the lack of shoppers and the lack of parked cars in the parking lots.

Even inside the stores, there were hardly anyone shopping.

I guess everybody was just kicking back and getting ready for the work week ahead. Probably had a hectic three days and you need some down time.
