You'll have to install ndiswrapper in order to get your wireless card connected.Should be in YaST--> Software Management--> Search for ' ndiswrapper ' (without quotes) --> Install the packages for ndiswrapper. If you need any help, here is a how-to: http://ndiswrapper.s.../index.php/SuseProfessional9.2Works for 10.1 as well.

I downloaded it, and opened it in file-roller, the only files they can be are:tnet1130x.systnet1130.syspcandis4.syspcandis5.sysbcmwl5.sysAs for the .inf files:autorun.inflstinds.inflsbcmnds.infYou might want to just boot up Windows, and see which one is being used with a program such as [url]http://www.nirsoft.n...riverview.html_, and hopefully they don't all show up for some odd reason.

Well, that's strange. Maybe download, unzip, then copy the .inf files you downloaded to your Linux end, and see which one is right?

You can copy them over with a flash drive. Then use ndiswrapper as said in the FAQ I linked you to. =)

Most routers are set up to default to this or 192.168.1.1. Check your router and use the proper default IP address!"part, not sure what the dns server names and stuff are

I'm pretty sure that it means the website of your ISP, if I remember right.http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jspLook up your ISP there, using the DNS search. As for your nameserver, should be 192.168.0.1, or as it said, 192.168.1.1.In case you can't find the right one, call up your ISP and ask them what their DNS server IP is.

Do you mean you can't connect to the internet? Just a tad confused with the terminology. If you mean you're not connected, make sure that everything is properly detected (su to root, then type ' iwconfig ' (without quotes), and see if it's detecting everything, if it's still detecting eth0, btw, you might want to shut it down and see if it works then)

Well... What is the information it tells you when you type iwconfig? Does it show wlan0 up? Does it have an IP connected to it? Sure you got the DNS servers and your private IP correct?
