You can also drop those photos into PowerPoint and add text and title blocks and then burn them to DVDs.:D

1. Create slide show with music using Windows Movie Maker in XP. 2. Use File, Save Movie File, To My Computer, using the format "Video for Local Playback 2.1Mbps NTSC" which creates a .wmv file on your hard drive. 3. I use NeroVision Express SE (free download upgrade from the Nero Express burning software that comes on many computer systems) to translate the .wmv file into the various files required and burn them to DVD. The result is a video DVD with resolution of about 720 x 480 that plays just fine on counter-top DVD players and using the DVD-playing software on PC or Apple computers.

Do you want DVD slideshow for PC or DVD for a television? There is a big difference.THAT IS A VERY IMPORTANT THING TO ADDRESS. Look into the software you will be using.I ended up purchasing a download of Microsoft Photo Story DVD for play back on televison. You can add your own music or just rythmatic beats for uncopyrighted music for resell purchases. I am still new but have found Photo Story to take up to 300 photos for a DVD playback. I recently put as many as I could photos of our family onto a DVD for entertainment. Inexpensive laborsome gift giving.JK in Wisconsin
