I have several mp3 albums and want to edit the tags. They are all collected hits, so I file them in a folder called Various Artists.
If I set the tag "Album Artist" to contain "Various Artists", it also forces the tag "Artist" to the same value, so I no longer have the artist associated with each track. Is there a better way to edit this type of album?

Try "Tag & Rename 3.5.7" ( http://www.softpoint...om/download.htm ). You can edit "Album Artist" & "Artist" differently. I've done it 100's of times.
