Earlier today, I decided that I wanted to clean up my music collection by using a media tagger to re-tag all of my music. However, it did not work out as planned. For some reason, the program that I was using, Media Monkey, decided to automatically label all of my songs with the same artist and album, while keeping the song titles intact. After trying without success to repair this, I decided that I would just clear the metadata and restart. I have all of the data cleared except for the original song titles. What is a good way to go about re-tagging all of these files? There are several methods that I have tried, but they were all too time intensive, forcing me to manually enter the information for each song/album. I would prefer not to have to do this for my 1500 song collection. Thanks for the help.

Tag & Rename 3.5.7 ( http://www.softpoint...om/download.htm ) is a Great program & can do this quickly. I recently edited 4000+ mp3 tags with Tag & Rename. You can enter 1 tag & apply it to a whole album (Album Artist, Artist, Album, Yr, Genre, & Cover Art). Actually you can type all that in at once & click SAVE once.
