Have a Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista CD ROM not working have this message

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

Tried reloading driver says its installed, tried reloading CD ROM still same meassage, Clicked check for solutins and nothing either, any ideas?
