[size="5"]IE8 will not open two MS Windows 7 support web sites. ALL OTHER websites open properly. The time of day or night makes no difference. I therefore CAN NOT get any Windows 7 & website help and support. They are:
http://answers.micro...s/ee396321.aspx
http://social.answer...tegory/windows7
I have tried the following: disabled all IE8 add-ons, re-booted computer in 'safe mode', placed the non-functioning website addresses in internet 'trusted zones', have IE8 compatability mode set to display all sites, turned off anti-virus to test, turned off/on in private filtering/browsing, flushed (dos command) dns cache (ipconfig /flushdns). Both webpages have me 'signed in at the top of the page, but the screen is 'blank' of content. Pages load, lower left of screen says 'done' and no errors are displayed. My internet provider, Times Warner cable say that they 'refresh their DNS servers regularly.' I had the same (unresolved problem) in Vista Home premium before I upgraded to Windows 7. Both sites work from other computers and my Blackberry cell phone.
There is some setting (registery issue or something) that will NOT allow these webpages to load properly. I would truly appreciate your help.

If you can't fix the problem in IE, perhaps you could try opening it with another web browser like Firefox or Chrome. If the problem still occurs, then it would probably mean it's related to your computer and not your browser.
