Hi. I have a 22" Samsung T220 that I use for my PC and I'm planing on getting a PS3 by the end of the year. I already know I'll have to use a HDMI/DVI cable. And since my monitor has no speakers, I'll use my 2.1 desktop speakers, connecting them to the PS3 through the AV cable. THere's just one thing left. PS3 aspect ratio is 16:9, and the T220 is 16:10.

Is there a way to display the PS3 image properly on the T220? Without being strecthed or missing parts of the image?

Please, any help appreciated.

I believe that will completely be dependent on the PS3. I believe the monitor will display whatever resolution the PS3 sends it (assuming the monitor supports that resolution, of course). And I am not familiar with what options you might have with a PS3.

Now, if it does get distorted, you might be able to adjust the monitor settings to stretch/squish the image some. Most monitors do have the ability to stretch, squish, and move the image on the screen.
