chevrolet1994 said Gee,I hope everyone isn't dumb like this. Nahh just 89% of the Country population... The ones who cannot live without texting and enjoy Twilight. The other 11% are Scientists,Physicists and normal intelligent people who cannot find a good job, cause all the stupid people took em all. If this 89% so dumb, then how come they've managed to get a job while the supposedly smarter 11% haven't?

The 89% includes management. :)

o_O I cannot believe this. This MUST be a joke from the editor. Ok I can expect this from non-science related peoples, when some of them try to use a computer (despite even a toddler can use Skype and search fossils on YouTube).

No, I get the same kinds of stupidity in the comments on my Youtube videos. My favorite thus far is a guy who responded to my technical exegetical video on Matthew 2 (Bible) proving no Star of Bethlehem but that Matthew was saying it was an angel.

The guy replying said that we don't have stars in the sky. That they are all really angels. Reasoning with him proved fruitless, of course.

Now I know why Obama won by so few votes. It's frightening.

Trust me--age has nothing to do with how dumb people can be. I once sent a PDF file on a CD disk--it was several hundred MB--to a customer (a lawyer) and when he received it, he called me to ask how to open it. He told me his secretary usually does that sort of thing for him and she had left for the day. I had to walk the guy through the process step by step. Even those who have good writing skills, tend to write very poorly when it comes to the internet and email. And why do people manage to get through 12+ years of school and still be dumb as a post? It's the poor quality of our educational system. I went through it in the 1950s and 60s and by junior high I knew more than most of my teachers. Remember the phrase, "Those who can't do, teach"? It is all too true. And some teachers will pass stupid kids just because they don't want to have to deal with them again next year. My apologies to those few exceptional teachers who really do care and go above and beyond to teach their students. I had a few--far too few--and many, many more are needed.

Did any of those teachers, show you how to parse paragraphs?

Ever heard of science? Those are stars in the sky, not angels.

Click here and go tell him that. I tried, but he won't listen. The 'discussion' is on the first page of the comments. That video isn't the exegesis, but merely my introduction to it. Oh well. I get more animosity from that video by my fellow Christians than almost any other one I do.

So maybe the stupid Yahoo comments are sometimes, by people who just don't want to learn.

I admit to having Trolled this site once or twice (a day [okay more like an hour]). But what other outlet have 'they' left us. Facebook and Google pressure you into provide all your personal information then they exploit it. We are all coming to feel a severe pressure building up inside of us, and it is because we have Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Linkdn up our ass. Y!A is the last free frontier of the int'net.
