3 gigs of ram????

hi, im new to building computers and i was wondering if i could run 3 gigs of ram on this mo-bo with no problems(in dual channel) and how. i will be using this ram( http://www.newegg.co...82E16820145440) this ram(http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820231047) and this MO-BO(http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813131530)any help would be nicethis is the rest of my pcmain componetshttps://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion...mambonumber5extrashttps://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion...ner%2Fspeakersit would be nice if somone did a quick check for compatablility. i will be running windows vista with dual monitors. doing some video editing, and using SOLIDWORKS for 3d design. play some games but i got my 360 for thatsecond set of ram is from my old pc. thankyou

Can you run dual channel with varying sizes of RAM? That would be my initial quandry...Link where someone uses all the same size RAM for an experiment.Also worth noting is that Vista isn't out yet and you don't specify if you'll run 32-bit or 64-bit or which version of Vista will be Basic, Home Premium or Ultimate?Regards,JB

check itill be running the best version of vista, in 64 bit mode most likely. im running vista beta right now in 64 bit mode its stellar. yep

well thats a problemlets see, its 2 1gig sticks and 2 512 sticks no idea why the links dont work.
