Yeah, it's ture I am vouching for IE,(just this once). I am a heavy downloader. Downloading with Firefox or Seamonkey is like having 1/2 of a 14.4 k/sec modem(think 1994). When I downloaded(the exact same file in IE it took 16 seconds, whil in Seamonkey it took 127 seconds,and firefox 65 seconds). Is it it my ISP, Adelphia? I really don't know.

Firefox usually downloads faster for me than IE. I would suspect Adelphia ( they are in the middle of a change to Time Warner).:shock:

I have downloaded using both firefox and IE. I fine it alot easier to use IE for downloading. Maybe because I am more use to doing it using IE, I don't know, but I do find it simplier and faster.

I to have found downloading faster using IE versus Firefox. I use two different ISP's. One at the church and one at home. They both download faster than Firefox. I have been unable to download some files and programs as Firefox does NOT support Active X and IE does.
