My Windows XP computer will not stop resetting during startup. It gives the screen asking if I want to start in safe mode, safe mode w/prompt, start windows normally etc. but no matter which I chose it does not finish the boot process and I do not make it to the sign in screen. It was working fine until the last time I came out of sleep mode and it said thier was a missing DLL file in my Zone Labs firewall. at that point I tried a restart and it has been going throuhg that cycle ever since. I have not installed any new software and have regular virus and spyware checks. Any ideas? Thanks.....

If you cannot somehow get into safe mode to run system restore, either try pressing the F8 key until you see boot options, choose Last Known Good Configuration. If that does not work, another option is to use the XP software CD, and try to repair the OS.Davehttp://www.davescomputerserv.com
