Does anyone have experience with the new Blackberry Storm - it appears to have many of the features I am attracted to on the iPhone.

I've had my Iphone since August and my biggest issue is the closed architecture. Yesterday I was on the web and tired to view a flash video and got a message that Apple doesn't do Adobe Flash.

Why exactly do you need the blackberry? I mean, the droids are out and the nexus one is around the corner. They have a lot of the same features as the iphone. But specifically to the blackberry. The blackberries have great battery life. The app store is much more limited than the iphone's and android's. It is great for business, and although I don't have a storm, they have gotten pretty good reviews. The storm two is even better.

The original Storm got horrible reviews, mostly due to typing issues on account of its mechanical surepress using a single pushbutton in the middle of the otherwise free-floating screen. Other complaints were software related and appear to all be fixed with the (free) OS 5.0 software and firmware upgrades.
The Storm 2 is much improved, with excellent clicking feel due to its move from mechanical to electronic surepress and the use of four instead of one "button" (its a piezo electric unit now).
I just replaced my BlackBerry 8830 with the Storm2 and couldn't be happier with the device.

whatever you do, the 1st gen blackberry storm is really really bad, 4 friends, 4 bb storms (at least 2 replacements under their belt), all gave it a thumbs down
i have no clue on the 2nd gen but i have a feeling it could be better... the blackberry curve and bold are both excellent alternatives =)
however, at&t really sucks on the iphone and coverage is not that great if you are outside of the city
since wifi is literally ubiquitous now, you might want to try a VoIP solution on the iPhone (or ipod touch with a headset)
iCall is free for 5 minute calls (to any US number anywhere) and a place to start to dabble in the voip waters
$10 a month gets you unlimited call times
all in all, verizon has my vote as a carrier =)

You're walking on thin ice, without quantifying or explaining your reason, you will be seen as a troll. For the future, the more details are better.

Well my Dad personally likes BlackBerry's but he used those since they came out.My personal choice would be to tell you iPhone because up here in Canada RIM has issues.
Also the iPhone can be like an iPod Touch with the phone. It has iCloud as well to sync with your iPod Touch. The only
Disadvantage is it syncs with iTunes and that is not good for work purposes.
I have just got a new PC!!!!!!!!!I have been waiting years!

Crashes a lot, not too many cool apps to spend your time on, and if I'm not mistaken, I think RIM went bankrupt...
