When I've tried to print PDF files in the past couple of weeks it has been turtle slow. It took 20 minutes to print 12 pages today. I have upgraded to to Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and it doesn't make a difference. Nothing has changed this problem started about a month ago and is very frustrating. I have to print out large PDF's as part of my business and I am losing valuable time and money.Has anyone experienced this problem. Is there a fix?

I have had this problem on many different printers and have found that it has to do with what pdf engine was used to create the pdf in the first place. When i hit a pdf that will not print properly, I open it up in Preview (Mac OSX) only, and it prints just fine. I am not aware of a fix on the Windows side.

You know, it is weird, but I just noticed the same problem, slow printing PDF's, yesterday. It took forever to print a four page document, and even longer to spool it to our networked printer.Has there been and update lately that is causing problems?I am using version 6.x professional.

mckinneylaw -- thanks for the tip on opening it in Preview. I often have to print PDFs out for school (I am a grad student) and I also noticed they were printing extremely slowly (I have a Mac G4 PowerBook and an HP All-In-One printer). I had not tried opening them in Preview.
