This video camera takes still shots. They are stored on a memory card and can be transferred via USB to my computer. The file format is .jpg. I cannot open these files in Photoshop CS and change the resolution. No matter what I do, they print the same unless I use the printer driver on my Canon ip4000 to print at a higher resolution. Does anyone know why I cannot break into these pictures and change them?

Usually you need to change the resolution on your digital camera.

Only change available is "Fine", which makes no difference. Someone said maybe if the file format were "raw" Photoshop would be able to get into it, but I don't have that option anywhere on the camera. I am looking at getting a digital camera, instead.
