making videos smaller to fit on dvds

heyyy, i was trying to burn a bunch of episodes i have of a tv show onto playable dvds, but it only lets me put about 5 per disk, i have alot. is there any really good way of compressing or converting the videos to make it possible to fit more on one dvd. my email it nouseguy@yahoo.comTHANKS!

Do you mean playable in a dvd or pc?If it's a pc, then you could encode it with avi, wma, or mp4 format. Or you could compress it to a zip, rar, or 7z format.For most DVD players, you have to leave it raw so the DVD player can read it.

well i want to make it playable in dvd players, and im using dvd creating software that came with my mac that usually works, but i just want to know if i can fit more then 5 episodes on one dvd.

DVD shrink might work. I haven't ever tried it burn on dvd to play on a dvd player, but on computer it worked.
