I just got Ubuntu Linux for emulation on my Win XP PC and what I see makes me think, should I emulate Windows on a Linux PC? Well I'm thinking that.

Emulate Windows on a Linux box? Do you mean virtualize? There are plenty of emulators, but they aren't very practical. If you want to use both, the simplest most secure way is to dual-boot.

You could always try Norton Ghost software, that works magic!

No Problem, just remeber that the emulation will be slow to begin with, and if you have lower RAM like 128 or 256 it will be slower.
