Hi all,

Just wanted to show off a little my M1 LCOS portable projector. Basically it's a tiny projector that I can power off an accessory battery pack if I wanted to. :)

It's very cool because it has a remote control, onboard video player, and speakers so I can watch videos pretty much anywhere - but best of all it was cheap :) It also connects to my laptop, although I'm having some problems getting the video to play smoothly. But hooked up to my Playstation is works great!

Of course the move quality is not as good as a big movie projector but it also cost a lot less... What do you guys think???

BTW, if anyone knows how to fix the jerkiness when I'm playing youtube or windows media player videos - please help!

:D

that last one looks over saturated - is that the projector or the camera?

I own the AAXA M1 - I think that's the camera. I WISH the M1 could produce oversaturated color like that, unfortunately because it's a white LED projector it can't. The colors look decent but the reds are a little bit washed out. However don't let that deter you from purchasing it - it's a great little projector especially with the optional 1.5 hour battery pack.

Home theater on a budget, Lol. I love the humor. That M1 actually looks really cool. I went to their website and they now have what they call the "M1 Plus" which has a few extra bells and whistles. I think this is definitely going on my bday wishlist!

Here's the link to the M1 Plus I found: http://www.aaxatech....o_projector.htm

I went on that site but didn't find the plus, they have one called the M1 Ultimate-X? Is this one better? http://www.aaxatech....o_projector.htm Apparently the link is the same, just different model?

Looks like the M2 would be the better route - about 25% brighter and higher resolution.
