Hi, I'm running a intel core 2 duo 2.33 ghz 2 gb ram 512mb geforce 7900gtx with all the updated drivers n such but I can't get FFXIII to play with hardware rendering. Whenever I run the final fantasy config it says that I fail the 8 bit palleted textures and when you run the game there are huge jagged black boxes along all the edges of stuff. I know that you can play with the software renderer but I really want my video card to do the work so it will actually look nice while I'm playing, but I have no idea what to do with it or if anything can be done. thanks for any help you can give.

Hardware rendering means it uses OpenGL, which isn't very powerful. You're better off sticking with DirectX, which is more powerful.
