You missed the possibly worst game of all time: Universal Combat. This game is just horrible. It was designed to be a space/ground combat game, but with no enemies on the ground of any of the planets, and a terrible control system for space, this game is the worst i've ever used. Not to metion the horrible graphics. Plus, the game was so unstable, there was a "how can i make Universal Combat more stable" FAQ included. Don't release a game unless it's stable, DreamCatcher.

For the most part, I think this article is dead on ... but you must have been smoking crack when you decided to diss Prince of Persia. Warrior Within is an awesome game.

Funny enough, this is the second "XX worst video games of all time" list I've read today. And frankly I think this list it horridly written. SCM:RPG? PP:WW? Postal? You really need to think about which way you wanted to take the list. With it so scattered between offensive games and bad games it compares apples and oranges making it useless as a list. And then choosing things because they're what gamers know about is foolish. Why not throw GTA 3 on there? There's hot coffee in there and violence and hookers... how come that's not on the list? Your logic is arbitrary and I doubt you've played most of the games on the list. Gameplay wise PP:WW was an EXCELLENT sequel. It did almost everything the fans wanted for the combat and it led to an even better game after it. But just because it's extreme you throw it on the list. Why not BMXXX, doesn't that prove the point even more? And at least the gameplay there isn't something that lifts it out of the gutter it aims for.

I think PCWorld should make a list of the worst games of the year. Seriously, who cares about atari? Everything now is about XBox, Playstation, and whatever Nintendo spews forth.

If you guys are just going to complain about the list articles, just shut up. I enjoy reading them and they give me something to do at work. I do agree that the worst game of the year article would be a good idea.Prince of Persia Warrior within WAS fun to play, the article never said it wasnt. But it DID destroy all the wonderful things about Prince of Persia that made it unique, and just made another God of War, etc. Though Godsmack is one of my favorite bands(which attributed to Warrior Within), it was a silly change, they could have done some Persian-music remixes or something. The extremeness of the women thing was also uncalled for. It feels like a God of War rip. But, I dont hate the game, and the Prince of Persia series is wonderful in general. Warrior within deserved the mention for going off track. Universal combat is indeed, horrible.Vinnchan, the article states on the first page that alot of different elements were used to create this list, its a very general list, not "10 worst made games" or "10 worst looking games" or "10 worst gameplay games", so the fact that things like SCM:RPG (wow that sounds horrible) is in there, makes fine sense to me.The list was fun to read.

How could you have not included the worst game ever: Sim Health. The worst of the sim games, it was sold as a game but was not a game at all. In fact, I bought this steaming pile and never could figure the darned thing out. I still don't know if it was a game, a single-purpose spreadsheet, or just a way of torturing someone that just wanted to play a game.

The author definitely took this as more an assignment to find the least PC, not that PC but politcally correct!, games. That seemed to be his top criteria. Deer Hunter?? I can understand not liking it personally, but one of the worst games ever??? :unsure

I think we need to add Minesweeper at the very top of the list. Stupid, and pointless, yet most players don't realize how much this is so.

What's wrong with Deer Hunter?I suppose you're a wacko left-winger who doesn't think before he writes. How can you list Deer Hunter as being one step above a homicidal, first-person shooter game? For your information, Bambi was funded and proposed by extreme enviro-nazis in the 1950s in order to poison the minds of the younger generations. It completely misrepresents true hunters everywhere by presenting all hunters as poachers and arsonists. Not to mention the fact that "Bambi" took 3 years to grow up--get real. Deer only take a year to reach maturity. It's all a ploy, and people like you are the ones responsible for spreading the lie. Don't even mention Bambi. This is possibly the worst article i have ever read. This should go in with the top ten worst articles ever written! The people that agree with this article should probably quit playing video games now. If they think that Pac Man should even be on that list, they should go home and put up their controllers right now. Pac Man is one of the top games that started it all. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion; however, once you state your opinion you are leaving it to be corrected or critiqued. I believe that the writter of this article made a good decision writting it. Whether I aggree or disagree is not the point, the point is that my list of the 10 worst games of all time would not be the same, namely because I have not seen all of the games let alone played them all. Another thing to consider is what is your standard for "good, better, best"! Good article.... You could always limit it further, ie... "The worst games of all time relating to political correctness....", "The absolute most pathetic games, I have ever seen!" etc

My penny's worth:There were some pretty dire BBC B games in the 80s. I recall a Harrier flight simulator, you were meant to be able to dogfight with enemy fighters in the air, however due to graphics/memory contraints these only ever appeared as dots on the horizon..I also recall a cheap Pole Position knock off, there were several different levels but the only thing that changed was the colours (black for night, white for snow, etc)
