Hello, how are you?
I have Auslogics Disk Defrag. Recently, whenever I've checked for updates, I can't access http://www.auslogics.com/
Even when I've tried different browsers, I can't access the website--please, has anyone/ev'ryone else had this same issue?
I'm now using a different free defragging application, but I don't like it as much.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
UUUnicorn

Hi :
I had no trouble clicking your link and accessing
the Site ; was surprised that they seem to contantly
"revise" their "Disk Defrag", which is now v 3.1 .
I found the following Revision History, in case
you might be interested :
" * 3.1.2.90 (12/11/2009)
* - added new languages
* - improved program appearance
* - fixed bugs
* - improved installer
*
* 3.1.1.80 (12/02/2009)
* - added an option to exclude SSD disks from the defragmentation process
* - added an option to check disks for errors
* - corrected mistakes in language files
* - improved file lists functionality
* - fixed bugs
*
* 3.1.0.65 (11/12/2009)
* - improved processing of files blocked by the system (e.g. system restore points)
* - added new colour to the map = unmovable files
* - fixed a compaction algorithm bug that moved files into the MFT zone when there wasn't enough disk space
* - tuned up colour theme colours - now they match better
* - improved tray program operation
* - simplified program interface "
I, personally, use a "defragger" developed by
antiSPYWARE Expert "RejZor" ( Power Defragmenter
GUI ..... ) and available at his website at
http://www.rejzor.tk .

Hey UUUnicorn !!
Well, I just tried the site and could get in with no problems. Here is the main software page from them :

Here is the page for the Disk Defrag :

You can download from cNet's Download.com :

OR
from MajorGeeks.com :

OR
from Techsupportalert.com :

Is your Firewall set to block or maybe your security programs like MalwareBytes' set to block certain IPs ?

Unfortunately, I still couldn't access this website--I added Auslogics Disk Defrag as an exception to my Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit operating system's firewall, and I even changed from Flock to Firefox as my default browser.
I have Windows Defender, Norton AntiVirus, and Spybot - Search & Destroy--please, could any of these be the culprit(s)?
It seems that I'm being "timed out" by the server.
Thank you.

It could just be the "connection path" that you are "taking" to the site. Sometimes there are just "roadblocks" along the Information Superhighway (aka Internet).
You might try resetting your modem, router, and computer (i.e. power them all down for about 10 minutes and then power them up one at time starting wit the modem, then router (assuming you are using a router), then computer). While this likely will not help, it is possible that it might.

Hey UUUnicorn !!
I would also suggest that you Disable your security programs ONE at a time after you follow smax` instructions.
I have a weird feeling that Norton might just be the culprit. I ran into this situation about a year ago and when
Norton was uninstalled the connection came back. BUT, this might not be your case. Just try it ONE at a time and
see if this will work for you.
