What Is The Biggest Ram Available On Laptop

I want to purchase a new laptop and I need it to perform so what is the fastest and most highest ram possible on a laptop today.

Hi,4 GB from what i hear,however it does depend on the laptop and the OS that will be on it.(as far as i know)

My Toshiba Qusmio Q305 has 4GB now but can be expanded to 8GB if I upgrade the BIOS.

I believe 8GB would be the max for a laptop these days.

Dell has a laptop with 16 GB of RAM.

The HP Envy 15 is available with 16 GB of RAM.
And i have a HP Envy 15 with the 16 GB of RAM.Imostly use it for air flights because it gives me a 8.3 hour battery life

at crucial's site there are modules with 4GB. So if your laptop's dimms can handle this you can go at 8 just in a blink of an eye!! :D

If you check out the Toshiba website for the Toshiba Qosmio® X70-AST2GX1 laptop, you will find out you can get it with 32GB DDR3L memory and a 256GB Solid SDD + 1TB (5400RPM) hard drive. I am trying to find out if there is a laptop with 64GB DDR3L of Ram memory, so far no luck.

There are no modules dense enough for that yet. 32GB is the limit. Not that it matters much, Intel has the highest official support - at 32GB...
