I just know exactly but i think HP. As it Captured about 17.4% of the market in 4Q 2006 and 18.1% in 4Q 2007.. It also provides Very solid and good looking notebooks..
Thank you..

Yep. Good point. Could go for Dell/Alienware as well.

The largest notebook ODMs in the world are Quanta and Compal, whom together manufactures over 90% of the world’s notebooks on the market. And the rest of the ODMs are all based in Asia, centered around Taiwan.
These ODMs will manufacture the barebone systems (consisting of the mainly chassis/casing and motherboard). Then the big brands or OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) would get a hold of them to brand them, and install the final, yet, standardized components like the Hard Drive, Memory, Bluetooth, Optical Drive, etc. So no notebook is really made in the USA, only the final assembly of the simple and standard parts are… therefore, the next time you hear someone say that their notebook was made in the United States, you better correct them.
Also the Iphone, Ipad and Ipod are made by Foxconn.
Top selling Brands (OEM's) Worldwide by %

HP 21.2%
Acer 16.5%
Dell 14%
Toshiba 9.6%
Lenovo 7.3%

Acer is big in Australia and are rather new to USA. One of the reason MSI and Asus have made a presence in the USA is because the brands are making it much more competitive between the ODM's which is resulting in less quality and the ODM are building better models under their brand names.
