i am considering buying a new camcorder,i already have a sony dcr-trv17e which is a dv format i want to get a smaller model but am confused as to which format to use.either dvd,dv or hard disc i have been told that dv is still the best for editting but as i am going to edit to dvd from any format surely the dvd or hd models would be the best or is there a problem with editting
