I installed InterVideo's WinDVD 7 trial version, not realizing that there was a version 8. After I uninstalled it, it wouldn't go away. I tried downloading the trial again, then uninstalling it, but it's still on my computer, but now when I try to launch it, nothing happensany ideas?

The "shell" is just left behind. Just delete the directory and start menu shortcut for it. It is gone from your computer, otherwise you could run the program again. Not all programs have a good "uninstall" program, and tend to leave things behind.
