I noticed recently that my laptop has been acting up. I used my laptop alot for business use and i have a lot of software loaded onto it that i would like to load onto my desktop. I don't have the cds for the software, so I was wondering is there a way to get the software off of the laptop and into my desktop?

Copy the program's folder and put it on your desktop. It won't be "installed" in the common sense, but you will still be able to use it. Just add shortcuts of the program to where you want them.
