I bought an HP computer in May and I am trying to sell it because I am getting very annoyed with windows and I am looking to buy a mac. I was wondering if anyone would know how much it is worth so I can sell it. I don't even know if I will be able to sell the computer. My HP Pavillion a1410n has a 2.4 ghz Athlon processor, 1024 mb of RAM, 200 gig hard drive, a 512 mb ATI 1600X PRO (I just recently bought this.) I orginally bought the computer for around 700 dollars. Hopefully you can help me.

According to Newegg, the price of that computer without the video card was around 525 dollars, but adding the video card will put it around 575-600 dollars.

I think you would be fine selling it between $500-$700

Where is the best place to sell it? Would ebay be good?

If you live in a place with a Craigslist (http://www.craigslist.org -- look in the columns on the right for your city/state/province/country), I would suggest that. It is best to deal locally and in-person when possible. That way you both know that you aren't getting ripped off.
