Facebook Plans A Privacy Summit

I think Facebook will hit a speedbump on this, but that it won't materially affect user numbers or the direction in which the company wishes to go.
I could be wrong, but that's how I see it.

For those under 21 and still living in dorms, or the equivalent ... privacy is like that line in a Joni Mitchell song that goes something like this: "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone ..." Privacy is like that; it's totally taken for granted until it's been seriously messed with and trespassed (and your life becomes a living hell under somebody's Big Eye).
Voyeurs and exhibitionists are not free. Know what I mean? Privacy is a luxury. Hold on to it.
Facebook must retain some pretty crappy legal counsel. And they're in Palo Alto.
