Hmm... last time I checked Facebook was a FREE social networking service.
Don't put anything or say thing on there that you'd be ashamed of.

I've worked in a university setting for decades now, and the thing that impresses me is that the majority of young people don't value privacy. Apparently, nothing should be allowed to interfere with "just wanting to have fun." Having lost it before really knowing it was possible to have, they look around, see no immediate adverse consequences, and sail on.
I think Facebook will hit a speedbump on this, but that it won't materially affect user numbers or the direction in which the company wishes to go.
I could be wrong, but that's how I see it.

Maybe this "summit" of Face Book executives will straighten the mess out and provide direction to their subordinates as to how to proceed to solve the problem.

What took the leadership at Facebook so long to weigh in on 'a thing' called PRIVACY?
For those under 21 and still living in dorms, or the equivalent ... privacy is like that line in a Joni Mitchell song that goes something like this: "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone ..." Privacy is like that; it's totally taken for granted until it's been seriously messed with and trespassed (and your life becomes a living hell under somebody's Big Eye).
Voyeurs and exhibitionists are not free. Know what I mean? Privacy is a luxury. Hold on to it.
Facebook must retain some pretty crappy legal counsel. And they're in Palo Alto.

I hope this abuser monster call Facebook wont hope for its JEW contacts in the stinky corrupted congress in order to clean up this nasty mess.JEWRY in WASHINGTON D.C. is a very dangerus pest that prevent the citizens of OUR COUNTRY to fight giant and fat rats like Facebook and its offender owners and also block JUSTICE from being rightly served to the victims like facebook users.BE AWARE there is planty of JEWISH greedy interests in dispute and they do have not only the money to buy out judges and senators but also to brainwash naive citizens whose level of comprehension is so low that they are not capable to realize the gravity of the crime that Facebook owners have now to pay.FREEDOM and Privacy of our citizens are in fact untouchable rigths they did dare to attack and damaged willingly and well planed just to profit. This shall be now punish by LAW.
