Recently, I have just downloaded and installed Norton AntiVirus 2007. I entered my registration code that I purchased when it needed to be entered. The install worked well, however, problems started to occur when I scanned my computer. I clicked the scan button and waited patiently for Norton to scan my computer. In the middle of the scan, a "Norton AntiVirus Error" mini screen pops up and says "Norton AntiVirus has encountered an internal program error." I tried reinstalling to see if that might have fixed the problem, but the error message kept on popping up during scans. If anyone knows what the problem might be and how to fix this, please reply ASAP!!!!Thank You

You must uninstall NAV 07 before reinstalling it again. After that, download the latest signatures first before running the scan.

Ok, I uninstalled NAV 07 and I even searched in my computer for any symantec/NAV folders anywhere on my computer so I can completely erase them off my computer. After I did that, i downloaded the signatures and updates as you said, then I ran the scan. The error message still popped up in the middle of the scan. Ugh, this is so annoying, please help!
