1 way to get more from your iPad:

1. Throw it in the trash and buy a laptop.

Is it just me or are iPad reviewing web sites using odd sized images of the iPad?

The one used on the front of this article looks tiny.

You are trying too hard to think up ideas to make the iPad useful. Kill it already.

Best way to get more is to not buy the thing and use the money you saved to buy more things that are not so overpriced.

AirVideo rocks!! I've been copying my DVDs to my media server and was wanting an efficient way to serve up my movies in a portable format, and MP4 and the IPad solved it!!

Watched District 9 in the bedroom last night on the IPad, was great!!!

My laptop is provided by my employer, so I used the money on an IPad.

I'm happy with it.

Everyone who sees my iPad 64 3G wants one. I'd say there is a huge demand developing for this product which is impressive for just for the first month.

This in spite of the handful of snarks who do not get it and probably never will.
Join me in laughing at them. ;>)

So because someone doesn't agree with you they "just don't get it"?

Can you come up with anything that isn't remotely similar to someone saying "because I said so"?

I just wanted to stop by and say that I was happy to see LogMeIn as a way to get more from your iPad. Thanks, Zack! If you or any of your readers ever have any questions about LogMeIn, please feel free to track me down on Facebook or Twitter.

Here's another way to get something out of your iPad - trade it for something useful.

I was skeptical at first and thought I needed an actual laptop...until I got my iPad 32GB 3G a week ago.

With remote software this thing is fantastic - I can surf, email, play songs and video from my iTunes library AND it is friggin tiny compared to my old laptop. It is 10 times more useful to me now that I have such an ultra-portable device with amazing battery life.

If and when I really do need a PC program or horsepower (like for software development using Visual Studio), I can simply remote in to my home office.

iPad kicks butt - I'm convinced! Don't knock it until you've actually used one for a week.

Since the iPad and iPhone are similar, I wonder if I can do any of these from my iPhone?

I had an iPad for 6 months. It was an acquired taste. I sold it a couple of weeks ago. I am not buying another one. That feeling of relief and FREEDOM that I had after I got rid of it was unforgettable. Because of all jobs's restrictions my life revolved around that stupid thing. Now it is gone and I feel free.

Im not trying to advertise, but samsung tab, althogh it is clunky and ugly, gives me everything that I couldn'thavr with that stupid shiny thing - painless downloads and file management, unlimited storage via swappable sd cards, smooth playback of avi, mkv ad wmv files (not that stuttering nonsense with yxplayer or vlc), cameras, third party apps, no jailbreaking hassle, and more importantly, no more Jobs - redundant family member.

Atomic web browser crashes whenever more than 2-3 tabs are open. Great browser design, except that without proper memory management, it doesn't actually work.

Shouldn't there be an article
"Is there any way to make the iPad useful?"
