Hey Ankushkool !!
Welcome to PCWorld Community !
Well to tell you the truth, I guess there won't be any better judge than you !!
Have you listened to all of the products you have mentioned??
They seem to be in the same price range.
My first experience with Altec Lansing was a Loong time ago with their stereo products (speakers).
The first set of speakers from Altec Lansing for our PC back when they first came out with this new
setup was a Good experience. They weren't that powerful but, the sound (at least to us) was very
well balanced.
So, not having listened to the other brand you are looking at I can't tell you not to buy them but, from
my experience with Altec Lansing (now and loong ago) I would have to recommend Altec Lansing.
Here is a YouTube demo of the VS4121 :

Today, I listen to Klipsch THX 2.1 . They are connected to my notebook and if you take advantage of
Windows Media Player's enhancements, they sound like 4 speakers.
Here is a review of my speaker system :

So, which ever one you buy, make to listen to them in a environment closely resembling yours.
FLASHORN.

Its not easy 2 hear the speakers coz only selected are on display... and i couldnt find much diff in de sounds.
Loved the Klipsch above, but my budget is around $50 so cannot go for it. brands available here are Altec, Creative, Logitec, JBL, F&D

Hey Ankushkool !!
I guess you can't go wrong with Altec. They have been in the speaker business (amongst other good products) for a long time.
I have a few others for you to ponder. Since you can get the JBL and Logitech, may I propose you find and listen to these :
JBL have also been in this business for a very long time and were among the best in their prime. You just might find these to
your liking. Again, a bit over your budget but, not by much.

I know for a fact that allot of people are very satisfied with the Logitech speaker system. This one is not much more above your
budget :

Just a little more work for you.
As far as the Klipsch are concerned, I got them on sale at a "going out of business" sell off. My purchase netted me these beauties for
$119.95 Canadian.
FLASHORN.

Hey Ankushkool !!
Yes, the JBL would be a topic for discussion. By all accounts, they also seem to have sound
to go with their looks.
When you do get the Logitech, come back and tell us what you think of your purchase. I'm
sure they will bring satisfaction.
