What do you want to do with this computer? Is it just an upgarde or are we talking gaming? If just an upgarde, you'll need a new motherboard that has a pci express X16 slot for the video card. You have (PLENTY) of ram. Ok, what about your hard drives, are they IDE interfaces? If so, then you'll need to find a motherboard that supports your hard drives and pci express (for the video card)Oh, and make sure that you find a motherboard that supports your current processor, otherwords you'll have to upgrade to a processor to make everything compatible in this upgarde. No need to upgrade these unless you want to:Sound Blaster Audigy 2 LG DVD Dual Layer BurnerCheers.

My HDD are IDE I think. I do a bit of gaming, like battlefield, Splinter cell, and other shooters. I can't really spend too much, I just bought a notebook for school. The biggest reason I'm upgrading is that I have been having trouble with my motherboard lately. Rather than just buying a new one I figured I would upgrade. I don't want to spend too much, just enough to better the system I have now.thanks
