Firefox 4x Beta looks very promising. They are doing what it takes not to lose any market share from what they have built up. Other than that, Chrome is still choice because of its raw speed and putting up the pages. Winner will be who gives the quickest and most stable experience on web surfing.

I use Firefox as my main browser, mostly because of the add-ons. I have found some GREAT add-ons that make my day more efficient and happier, and I would never leave them. I also "trust" Mozilla more in terms of transparency and lack of evil.

I do use Chrome as a secondary browser however...to test something that requires I don't have a cookie set, to keep Pandora running on the other monitor, etc.

The only time I launch IE is to help a client who is having an issue with it.

It would be helpful to hear more about manageability features, roadmaps, and support paths regarding which is best "for work" as those business management features become important in the workplace whereas they are not for individuals. This article strikes me as more about personal productivity, and it's fine, but "for work" would like to hear more about, for example, patch deployment for the various platforms as that is one of the reasons Microsoft has led in enterprises.

Personally, I am a Firefox user and have been now for about 5 years. Prior to that, IE was my browser of choice. What turned me to Firefox was its tabbing ability (open multiple websites in one browser window), an option now available in IE 8. My only complaint about Firefox is the inability to play online PC games that require ActiveX, a feature that is not supported by Firefox. Otherwise, I believe Firefox runs circles around the others.
