I own a ton of EA Games. Never a problem with the Install. Never had to use their TechSupport. First time was the KISS of Death!! The Ten Dollar phone call got me the EA run around. The promise of a phone call from a REAL TECH has never happed. I'ts been a Month ,no call. Just the no help online help. The Install failed during Registration. I was told that the CD KEY was invalled. It's a good key, the BOZO on the phone said it was. But he couln't help get the game past the Splash Screen.Well it must be your computer, right? NO! Asus P5AD2-E Deluxe ,Intell3.6, 2gig 667ram, TDK CD, HP dvd, ATI600 PRO,BF2 works, BF Special Forces works, and all the other EA games work. So what did EA change with BF2142?. I think they made changes in the install. It's not the Fifty Bucks for the game that has pissed, but it's the We are SO Big Kiss our BUTS deal. Please let me know if you have had a problem installing BF2142. Thanks:

what's changed with EA? LMFAO!!! the ridiculous amounts of uncontrolled spyware. maybe that's why you are having issues. is your browser, security, etc. set to not receive cookies, pop-ups, etc.?check that first. enable pop-up, firewall (standard), etc. then install it.good luck and happy spying...
